Drying out your structure with air movers and dehumidifiers
Using our powerful air blowers and dehumidifiers, Mould Rescue ensures that a dry environment is created to take the moisture out of your carpets, underlay, subfloor and wall-ceiling structure.
We use low grain refrigerant dehumidifiers that work just like a fridge or air conditioner by taking the moisture out of the air through condensation. This process is made more efficient by using a pre-cooling device which automatically cools the air before it is goes through the condensation process. The water that has been taken out of the air is then pumped out of the room or pumped into an enclosed container.

Decontamination and cleaning of remaining structural component
Making sure the area in question is clean and decontaminated is a vital step in the remediation process. Depending on the size and nature of the problem at hand, the area either undergoes a basic wash with soap and water or a pressurised washing.
Only after one of these procedures is completed can more permanent action take place with regard to eradicating mould within your premises.

Ozone Treatment
As experienced mould removers, we recommend using Ozone Treatment to get rid of any odours within your home or office. Our technicians are qualified to use an Ozone Generator that can completely eradicate an odour from wither your home or office. As its name suggest, this machine is used to produce Ozone which helps dissipate the odour over a number of hours. We strongly advise that you don’t enter your premises while this process is underway, which can vary from a little as 2 hours to longer periods of time such as 24 hours.
Ozone treatment is highly effective and can remove odours from:

Chemical Treatment
At Mould Rescue we believe that the Chemical Treatment of the affected area should only be handled by the professionals. Over the years we’ve completed hundreds of chemical treatments that have lead to the successful eradication of mould. Our technicians always wear the required protective clothing when using chemicals to ensure safety is paramount.
Our technicians are also always equipped with an MSDS, or a Material Safety Data Sheet. This provides our technicians with procedures for working with chemical substances. It includes physical data, toxicity, health effects, first aid and spill-handling procedures.

Fogging
Once the affected area has been completely dried, the area can then undergo Fogging. Fogging is a way to atomise approved products which are then delivered to every part of the targeted area. It is a very effective way to ensure that the Mould is well and truly gone. Fogging is perfect for attics, large rooms and newly constructed premises. It can reach distances of up to 30 feet and covers every inch of the space being fogged.
For mould removal, or remediation, cold fogging is required for effective results. Most foggers on the market use either propane or electric heat to atomise the product. Heating the product in any way will destroy the chemical properties of the product and render it in-effective against mold. At Mould Rescue, our foggers are air-based and don’t heat the product.
